JAPAN ATTACK

June 7th, 2010

H5 X Kinokuniya X Eightyfourcube

We are proud to announce that Eightyfourcube Studio Gallery has been invited to design a visual for ‘Japan Attack’ which will be H5’s & Kinokuniya’s theme for the month!  ’Japan Attack’ is a visual joyride of interesting books ranging from Japanese Manga all the way to Japanese J-Pop all found at Kinokuniya KLCC & H5 Bangsar Village.  Do make sure to keep up with updates as we hear it is going to be massive with lots of goodies and happenings!!

They came, they drew, they conquered. DEVILROBOTS graced Eightyfourcube Studio Gallery and stole our hearts.

Need I say more? *grins*

It’s still a major surreal feeling for us here at the studio - but it has definitely been an amazing opportunity to meet such lovely and humble individuals.  Just had updates of so many brand new exciting products, so do make sure you add em up in DEVILROBOTS @ Facebook and we can’t wait for their next trip to Malaysia!

Tekhka X Nooka Nooka

May 21st, 2010

Couple of months back, Art:Tech was invited to participate in a Nookanooka custom competition organized by H5 & Pipit.  It was pretty tough, considering the surfaces were cylindrical.  It was just madnessssss.  For 48 hours he slaved, and for 48 hours, he did not bathe.

The outcome.  Just AWESOME:

Tekhka X Nookanooka

“NookaNooka represents the Nooka brand and concept of design and the world. NookaNooka’s phsiology is transient, eternal in his world and ephemeral, yet immortal in ours - beyond imagination yet real enough to feel. - Nooka Nooka

Ever find yourself in awe or dumbfounded whenever an illusionist or a magician manage to conjure something amazing right before our eyes?

Well, this is the exact feeling you’ll get whenever you get to see Spacemaggot live at work – its just pure fascination.

For 10 hours he strived, sprayed and painted our store wall continuously; and with an occasional bit of what he calls ‘tap dancing’ with Art:Tech at intermissions *grins …
Now that’s what we call an artist with an obsession for perfection!

And the results :  :D :D

We h84rt Spacemaggot *salute!*
